I’ve just received my author copies of You Have a Calling: Finding Your Vocation in the True, Good, and Beautiful and am ready to ship off signed copies in the mail!
I want to upgrade too but don’t have an iPad so any advice would be very welcome . My operation went really well so I’m going home tomorrow and will sort it then. Karen I’m worried that sending a book to the U.K. will cost you a fortune in postage . Would you send me a card instead and I can buy ‘you have a calling’ here then stick it in
By the way, have any of you read Robert Harris ‘Acts of Oblivion’? I can’t think of a better exciting holiday read companion to Pilgrim’s Progress . I think it’s fascinating that Harris began the book thinking ‘these puritans are just like the Taliban ‘ but ended with some pleasing characters and a moving depiction of forgiveness. It’s a fine historical thriller but without the intellectual heft for the priory’s usual reading but maybe could be on the books you can’t recommend
When I’m out of hospital I’ll work it out. I was thinking today about substack algorithms and how lucky I am that my interest in sourdough bread led to Kendall vanderslice and then somehow onto you and Beth Allison Barr and Jeff Chu and Holly AJ while my daughters sourdough Instagram feed just features beautiful young wives very much not of her political persuasion .
How do I upgrade to be a founder?
Oh dear. I was afraid someone would ask!!! I don’t know! 😂
Finding out…
I have worked out how to become a founder member and claim my book
I did it by cancelling my subscription then rejoining on my iPhone as a founder member
Why is technology so weird?!? 😆
And THANK YOU!

Well, if you figure it out and change your mind, I’d be honored to send you a signed book. 😊

Thanks. The upgrade button showed up on my iPad but not my iPhone. All set. Can I ask you to send the autographed copy to my daughter?
I just emailed you. :)
